Longport NJ is a wonderful, quiet shore community located at the tail end of Absecon island. Peppered with homes ranging from expansive and lavish to traditional shore cottage, it’s a real treat. Unlike its island neighbors of Atlantic City, Ventnor and Margate, Longport is predominantly a quiet residential enclave where you can relax on the beaches and enjoy the ocean's splendor.

Longport is fifteen minutes from Atlantic City and about five minutes from Somers Point's shopping and Ocean City's amusements and boardwalk. Visiting these neighboring towns will give you plenty to do. Summer rentals are the only way to enjoy this town since there are no hotels, however most rentals will require at least a month stay. If you can take the time, these rentals give you the convenience of having a comfortable home setting while still relaxing on vacation.

• Take the Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 7S (Garden State Parkway)
• Take Garden State Parkway Exit 36 (Northfield/Margate)
• Turn right on Tilton Road, take Margate Bridge road to Margate
